Issues We Work With

Many clients come to us with a specific problem: jaw pain, headaches, swelling, prenatal discomfort, stubborn tension that hasn’t responded well to other treatments.

Our therapists combine targeted bodywork, nervous system–focused techniques, and specialized training to help support healing and relief.

We serve clients throughout Centennial, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Lone Tree, and the greater South Denver area.

TMJ & Jaw Pain

Jaw tension can cause:

  • clicking or popping

  • headaches

  • facial pain

  • ear pressure

  • neck tension

Our TMJ massage therapy includes external and intra-oral work (with gloves) to address the deep muscles responsible for clenching, grinding, pain, and more.

Headaches & Migraines

Many headaches originate in the neck, jaw, and cranial fascia. Both craniosacral therapy and targeted massage can help reduce tension patterns contributing to:

  • tension headaches

  • migraine triggers

  • neck stiffness

  • nervous system overload

Fluid Retention & Lymphatic Congestion

The lymphatic system moves fluid and immune cells throughout the body, helping maintain fluid balance and remove waste from tissues. When circulation slows, people may experience swelling, puffiness, bloating, heavy legs, sluggish recovery after workouts, and more

Brazilian lymphatic massage and manual lymphatic drainage can help stimulate lymph movement and reduce fluid retention.

Post-Surgical Swelling

Cosmetic surgery can temporarily disrupt normal lymphatic flow, which can lead to swelling, bruising, and fluid retention. Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle technique designed to help move fluid through the lymphatic system and reduce swelling, ensuring you heal up quickly and beautifully. Clients often seek post-operative lymphatic massage after:

  • liposuction

  • tummy tuck

  • breast surgery

  • cosmetic procedures

** We do not specialize in post-op ortho MLD: rotator cuff repair vs a tummy tuck are wildly different recovery paths. For ortho, we recommend Kendra at the Highlands Ranch PhysioRoom clinic. Rachel went through school with Kendra. She’s good people and she’ll take great care of you.

Pregnancy Discomfort

Pregnancy is an incredible journey. It also places unique demands on the body. Prenatal massage can help relieve:

  • low back pain

  • hip tension

  • rib discomfort

  • swelling in the legs and feet

  • sleep disruption

Sessions are adapted for safety and comfort using either our ahh-mazing tummy-down bolster or side-lying positioning depending on symptoms.

Neck & Shoulder Tension

Desk work, stress, and posture can create chronic tightness in the upper body. Massage therapy may help reduce:

  • upper back tension

  • shoulder restriction

  • neck stiffness

  • stress-related muscle tightness

Here at The Studios , we offer a variety of customized massage therapy sessions, all of which can help with tight shoulders, and other common aches and pains.

From “The Works” (think cupping, stretching, and all kinds of yummy stuff) to “Barbaric Bodywork” (not for the faint of fascia) we are confident you’ll find a service you love.

Nervous System Overload & Stress

Many people are not just dealing with tight muscles — they are dealing with a nervous system that has been in “fight-or-flight” mode for too long.

Both craniosacral therapy and slow therapeutic bodywork, like our “Deeply Relaxing Deep Tissue” service help shift the body toward a rest-and-repair state, allowing muscles to release more easily.

Not Sure Which Service Is Right for You?

That’s normal. While many people already know what they want, just as many people find us knowing only that something hurts or feels “off.”
We have designed a fun little interactive quiz to guide you toward the most appropriate treatment based on your goals.
